One day LVP

This is an extensive 1-day, hands-on session on installing both Glue-Direct and floating LVP as well as the locking systems utilized in the various types of LVT & LVP. Students will work in teams of 2 prepping and installing material in 4’X8’ modules. This Class covers the following:

• Determining existing floor conditions to avoid failure
• Checking Floor Flatness and the acceptable levels
• Corrective measures for various floor conditions
• Proper Floor Preparation
• Priming of floors and when and why it might be needed
• Installing GD Plank on a 45 and chevron pattern
• Working with various underlayment’s
• Learn the difference between the various locking systems and why you do not treat them all the same
• Know the manufacturers requirements on board spacing and minimum length and the result if not followed
• Learn how to use and layout with trammel points
• Properly Balancing the room
• Students will install 3 different floors. 1 Glue direct and 2 floating
